Fem hroth rigging problems?

I was contemplating if I should mention the (Virtu) Ravager's Cuirass as well, because it always was a tad bulky with fur and all, but there have been some issues with various animations including sitting on some mounts and other things. I also compared it with my character pre-Fantasia, where she was a Lala and wearing the same glam and it makes the issue pretty obvious. I don't mind the general look of bulkiness with this style, as said, it was always leaning into this direction, but especially this oversized metal part floating over her shoulder is very much blown out of proportion and beyond what could be considered a normal muscular design. ^^;



Basically ever emote where she raises her arm or folds it for a dance or so, she risks severe head wounds...


For comparison old screenshots from my Lalafell. The shoulder plate was floating a little and the elbow was not exactly slim either, but not nearly to that degree and I remember her head being split in half when she does a /wave gesture... I don't mind a bit of clipping, this can't be avoided in this game, but that's pretty excessive.



Edit: Adding my male Viera. The shoulder plate is flooting here as well but it still doesn't break his face.

Chiming in to say that I am glad that I'm not the only one in feeling that its weirdly bulky on some glams. A shame, as I was comparing the body size between my femhroth and my friend's femviera, and we both have similar body size. but the 97 dungeon gear made femhroth looked like its freaking puffy sleeves with oversized shoulders while femviera's looked nice and fitting.

I do hope Yoshi-P noticed this. This is ridiculous as I would expect that they would learn what had happened to malehroths and fix that in femhroths. But I guess not.

It seems like the issue is right at the elbows all the way up to the shoulders. But only if the gear covers the shoulders.

The level 97 dungeon gear suffers it.. really sad. The jacket looks so nice but the sleeves look terrible. Same for the astro 100 job gear.

I haven't had issues with most of what I wear and it seems the larger shoulders don't apply to all gear. I have worn multiple pieces that cover the arms that don't give me the incredible hulk vibe, but some do. I feel the AF Picto top actually looks like it should. One thing I have noticed with rigging is my tail on certain mounts is completely borked. On the porxie mount it looks like they miscalculated the mount's size and my tail is in this weird rigid arch.

Thankfully, most of the stuff is minor gripes. I feel the female hrothgar are beautifully designed and animated.
