Holy crap, my girl looked EXACTLY LIKE THIS because the white on white was the only color scheme that didn't bother me...
Also, yes, those sleeves do defy gravity. Why...
Omg! Thats so funny!!! I like the white on white. Or the white cat with black stripes, buy often the highlights on the hair are a bit much then…. Sadly we can’t dye the fur pattern apart from hair highlights!!
Yeah I thought they looked kinda good, but now I do see the upper sleeve part ><
I’m gonna make a alt, while levelibg I’ll try and document pieces of gear that are wierd on the arms, hopefully SE sees it then and will take a look at it
I have wo theories on why femhroth are like this. Either they are useing edited male hroth scaling on clothing. You can see this with certain gearsets that have capes. They sometimes blow out so far as if you have the male hroth hunch. Or female hrothgar used to have different scaleing earlier in production and had a bigger model. Sometime between earlier model and current someone didn't get the new scaling numbers and just has been running off old data. Either way shows some real incompetence on squares part at best.

The only way I guess to try and let SE know is to keep talking about it….
Keep sharing the weirdly sized clothing pieces.
I hope they do a rehaul of Characters next. Character creation/Rigs/ Animations (like multiple poses with weapons drawn). But I can only dream!
My theory is this is an attempt to differentiate the body of Hrothgal's from Roegadames, but I think the idea they were initially bigger makes more sense.I have wo theories on why femhroth are like this. Ronso (the FFX race Hrothgar are primarily inspired by) women were smaller than the men, I think, so it's kind of a bummer to think this may have been our first race that the women were the hulks.
What sucks is FFXIV does have a race with that trait: Sahagin. The cowards won't let us play as one, though.
It's still wierd since fem hrothgars are smaller then Roe's. Yes they have kind of the same build but its pretty easy to see who is a female hrothgar and hoe is a Roe. 1 has a tail and some hats. The other has no tail and can wear hats and then are bigger. Also Au'ra and Miqo'te are also similair in body only one is a cat and the other a lizzard ofcourse but when they both have full armor on you can only see the difference with the tail/horns.My theory is this is an attempt to differentiate the body of Hrothgal's from Roegadames, but I think the idea they were initially bigger makes more sense.

Also isn't it crazy we only get like 4 older hairs per big patch? 1 hair per month.... I want to use Gyr albanian plait
I have a whole list of idea's I would have implemented if I was a dev (especially character creation ect) Sadly I am not a game dev/Speak Japanese to apply D:
Also I would love to see other races like the Sahagin, Loporitts. Sadly since they are part of a 'allied society questline' so indeed it won't happen probably
Meanwhile, I wish they could just unlink the freaking stripes to the hair color we pick out. And also how about like more colors to choose from? That would be great. (You cannot be light green or teal or purple or rose....)
Keep in mind that Hrothgal gear will always be oversized to some extent because Hrothgals have thick arms and very broad shoulders. There are definitely pieces that still need to be fixed but many of the complaints I've seen recently seem to be from people who just don't like that Hrothgals have a larger frame, which is fine but that's personal preference, it's not an issue with the race.
Also same yeah. I would love to have purple hair highlights but that it does not affect the fur pattern
Well I do get that. The Gear should really more resemble the size of a Roedygyn since they have around the same body type. But even Roe's fit the for ' example: Critical Hit A-1 Tour Armlets' better... when in game and next to eachother it doesn't look that big as in the ' try on' feature.Keep in mind that Hrothgal gear will always be oversized to some extent because Hrothgals have thick arms and very broad shoulders. I asked my friends who are a Roe and Hroth at the moment to stand next to each other and do the Attend emote to see the difference. In game it's not THAT bloated as I looked in my previous picture in the try on menu.
But if this is around 0.5x bigger then other more poofy stuff will look insane.
I love Hrothgars, I absolutely love how they look and dont want them to be a miqo'te sized. But I do just want them to fit gear like Roe's
