Fascinating (and very sad). Totally forgot about the PvP gear.I'm not sure if it's the muzzle though. On the Late Allagan sets from the Wolf's Den, you can wear every head piece *except* Healer's, which is the only one that goes *on* your head instead of being a mask/visor of some kind.
Likewise with the Universal Gear from the Trophy Crystal vendor. You can use the Model A-1 goggles and B-1 masks, but the C-1 hoods are out of the question.
I'm posting once more to give comparisons between Female Hrothgar and a few other races. Sorry about the screenshots looking odd. It was the best I could find for now.
I posted a top view of my Hrothgar before so here is a side view this time.
Anyway, what I noticed is that the pauldron/shoulder pads are about as wide as Roe and Hroth (M). It also seems thicker than them both. Making it so oversized on Hrothgar (F). but that maybe just my eyes playing tricks.
Meanwhile Female Hrothgar have the same build as a Roegadyn (F) but shorter height with their default stance being a slightly edited version of Highlander (F)
However, with the use of the Midlander hempen set I can only assume they started with them as a base. Otherwise, they would be using the Highlander or Roegadyn's hempen set.
Anyway, my point is ultimately that the pauldron/shoulder pads should be the same size as Rogadyn (F).
However, one or more of the multiple short cuts taken while developing them has caused this oversized gear on the shoulders problem. (Along with a host of other problems.)
They had been fast to fix Male Viera's stomach if I recall. So maybe with the smallest of odds they will fix oversized gear problem in a few patches from now at least.

They're using Viera's hempen set, not roe. Midlander is similar but still different.

The giant arms/sleeves on everything is sometimes jarring and keeps me from using some of my favorite glam items.

I had made a thread earlier but a lot of the poofiness looks very weird especially compared to how body/arm pieces hang on other race models. The problem point seems to be the elbows in particular:
Compare to how the gleaner outfit looks on Hyur.

Figured I'd chime in with a couple of examples, just to show how widespread this issue is. Many of the Fending armor sets (or anything that has a semblance of a shoulder pad) gets absolutely enormous and ridiculous. Simply trying on different pieces of armor from market board is more than enough to notice how limiting our options become in order to avoid this problem.
Example 1 , Example 2 , Example 3 , Example 4 , Example 5 , Example 6 , Example 7
It's giving this

it/its - 14 accessibility is bad, ease of access is not accessibility, jobs are boring. Transphobia ruins real attempts at criticism and it's whack.
I've played Femroe before and I knew in advance finding good glamours was going to require working around the broad shoulders in addition to the missing hats and lack of hairstyles. The customization is limited and I accepted that. Yet looking at my glamour dresser I don't know if I can handle half of my glove/body piece collection looking warped and oversized. It's a shame because I really like this race.
Same. Not even femroe have this many issues with gear, and femroe/hroths have roughly the same body proportionsI've played Femroe before and I knew in advance finding good glamours was going to require working around the broad shoulders in addition to the missing hats and lack of hairstyles.
