Fem hroth rigging problems?

It's also the least played race by a long shot. That's probably one of the reasons why Fem Hroths are late by a whole expansion.
Unfortunately, devoting the FF14 team's ever-dwindling resources to fix a problem that only effects a dozen or so people in a world of multiple millions doesn't make sense from a budgeting standpoint.
Low effort for low demand, if you will.

According to the latest Lucky Bancho survey, female Hrothgar are already more popular globally than female Highlanders, male Highlanders, female Elezen, and almost all Roegadyn. They're about even with male Elezen. They don't beat the "cute" races but nothing ever will except maybe another cute race.

I was surprised myself at how popular they are but I don't think the devs would purposefully neglect a race based on its popularity anyway, if that were the case they wouldn't have designed them that way to begin with. Not every race needs to be massively popular to be a worthy addition to the game. Different options bring different crowds of people into the game.

Well, colour me surprised... going from people telling me Hrothgals will be less popular than Femroes with an average of 3 per server, to as popular as Male Elezen. And more popular than Highlanders and Roes...

Well, I can't say it is not deserved, they give a unique feel. You can be beastly and cute. They are quite a peak in terms of fantasy (I'm very subjective on this). Being muscular enough to make a majority of weapons feasible to wield, having a lithe and pleasant body with just enough muscles and shape. And faces that can range from several different wild cats that can be made to look cute and docile or threatening. Also as an added thing, they are the only female race that is tall and has a tail. So from my perspective, it is obvious they are popular, but it is also nice to know that a lot more people agree!

There is no competition, of course, but it's nice to feel validated after 6 years of being told otherwise! :3

Many would have stayed hrothgal if they had the same features and access as the other races.

Quite literally me! I love their look, I love the animations, they have the best voices for emotes and combat, and they're just more different then the norm. I can deal with the ridiculously limited options, no problem for me there, but the armor rigging making any full armor sets look straight up stupid and comical forced me back off of them. I 100% believe that I'm not the only one and Hrothgals would have a higher playrate if they hadn't messed up on these things.

The shoulders/armpits themselves also look a bit strange to me when they raise the arms and stretch, a little rough and, idk, angular, if that's the right English word, but this might just be my own perception. I have barely any experience with playing a Roe, maybe that's just normal for the bigger muscular races. (I know Hrothguys but their body structure is not exactly the norm to begin with.)

*sigh* Looks like they're going to stick with the idea of Warcraft like shoulders for female Hrothgars. I highly doubt they'll ever fix all the broken and weird looking glamours, but I can't expect much from a small indie company. Sooner than this they'll fix hats for Viera for sure.

I was so excited to see the notes, I'm so glad they are working on this
