It's a problem with Viera or Hrothgar. They know exactly how to handle it.I suppose they don't consider it a bug in the literal sense, more of a design decision that turns out to be not a good call. There are two threads in the bug forum about the issue, one even links to this thread, and yet it's categorized under "Insufficient Information". Feels a little like they are not sure how to handle that.
They'll ignore it.
Asking in the forum to fix it is still the only choice we have, aside from a personal meeting at the media tour or fan fest I guess, but getting that is a rather slim chance (and it seems our usual content creators don't care for putting this question on the table.) So I will keep asking and hoping. In the end, other people being persistant about getting Hrothgals at all likely played a huge part in us getting access to our queens to begin with.
I bought a fantasia because some of the glam items I loved were so horribly deformed. Basically most things with sleeves/arm covers are either huge or terribly stretched where they should mostly hug the skin on other character models. It’s a huge eyesore.
I was really excited to play as a Fem Hroth but I encounter the same issues. The sleeves are incredibly puffy and it really does just feel like the Devs slapped the male Hroth outfits on the Fem Hroth and called it a day.
I by no means mind bulkier characters but the clothing should at least conform better to the model then what is currently present. I really hope this gets fixed.
I switched back to Elezen because of all the issues...It really sucks because I genuinely love how they look but the severe lack of head gear and rigging problems just constantly takes the enjoyment out of it. Hopefully they fix these problems soon so I can go back.
I don't think it's as horrible as some of you are making it out to be. Yes, some gear is extremely puffy but then there are plenty of gear pieces with leaves that aren't. The AF picto gear is a perfect example of the sleeves fitting as they should. The street attire jacket also works perfectly. Honestly, I don't believe the hrothgals are half-baked at all. We actually are some of the highest quality models in the game now.

Sorry, can you please speak up, lass, just a little louder? I love hrothgals but you should not accept blatant low quality and minimal effort decisions
hell, it's clear Hrothgals are unfinished when you see THIS

Disagree, the sleeves on the street jacket are also way puffier and stretched out than they have any business being and I don't like wearing it anymore.I don't think it's as horrible as some of you are making it out to be.
