New hairstyle: "Modern Aesthetics - It Takes Two" missing from the game?

"Modern Aesthetics - It Takes Two" was one of the new hairstyles shown in the 7.0 patch notes (this one specifically was from the Hairstyle Design Contest 2023). However, this hairstyle does not show up on the Aesthetician (Jandelaine) as an option to preview, giving the impression that it's not accessible in the game.

Has anyone found it, or is it missing from the 7.0 update?

You have to unlock it. I saw an item for it on the Marketboard. I dunno where you can obtain it, though. I'm going to take a random guess and say either bicolored gemstones or nutsacks.

I thought the Aesthetician will show hairstyles that need to be unlocked, even if you have not unlocked them. I did not see "Modern Aesthetics - It Takes Two" in his list.



I thought this was the case, at least, and I may be wrong about this.

It is an unlockable one, but there's no data on it right now so perhaps it's locked behind a specific route, npc, quest, achievement, etc.

I really want it, hope it gets snuffed out soon :c

Doesn’t it only show the icon on hairstyles you’ve registered? It’s simply a way to differentiate between base hair and unlocked ones, with the blurb to remind you where you go it.

I do wish they would just put them all up though, so you can preview missing hair and decide if you want to bother going through the trouble of unlocking it.

I honestly couldn't say. I've rarely used the Aesthetician. How you describe it may be the case and sounds needlessly confusing, which has me leaning towards believing you're probably correct.

Does anyone have an update on this? It doesn't seem to be unlocked through any kind of achievement or quest completion because it's not untradeable since you can search it on the marketboard.

I've seen an entry for it on the marketboard, but never any listings for sale nor any record of any being sold in the sale history.

There is also an NPC with the hairstyle in the Viper questline, apparently.
