tried this and now am getting fatal error (10000000)
Tried this on my laptop.Jumpin' jellyfish!! I have a major update. I followed the instructions on this Reddit post and was finally able to run the game!!
https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...rashing_steam/
You'll first want to head over to the Archive link pasted in the post description. From there, click on "GZIP" and then "dxvk-1.7.1-bin.tar.gz".
Download and open this using a program like WinRAR. You'll find the two files you need in the folder that corresponds to your system type.
Drag these two files into your game folder. For me, I have the game via Steam, so mine can be found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIV Online\game
From there, try to boot the game and see if you're able to get in! It worked wonders for me!!
It fixed the error, but in exchange I can't make it any further than the Square Enix logo before the game starts flashing and strobing, and I can't click out of it.![]()
Hello everyone. Have this issue since the new update. Tried all solutions listed on this thread and finally deleted the whole game and
reinstalled and sadly same error as soon as you click on play, you get directx fatal 3000000 message.
Hope there is a solution soon as had no issues before the maintenance.
I've tried all these solutions. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game now 4x, I've verified files 6x, I've unplugged all my usb things, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Steam, uninstalled and reinstalled my Nvidia drivers, I've uninstalled and reinstalled my anti-virus. I've uninstalled OneDrive, I've uninstalled my SteelSeries stuff, I've turned off speedstep in my bios.... I've checked my Ram, I've reseated my ram and video card, I've tried it with all the graphics to low, I've even rolled Windows back to prior to the patch when it all was working and reinstalled. I've tried it on a different SSD, I don't know what else I can try. I tried the dx11 fixed posted above too, no solution.
3 days, still can't play and no help from support.
Also, all other games run perfectly fine. Including heavy ones like Icarus, 7 Days, Palworld...
And a lot of people are getting this and no response.

wow same ive tried everything too filecheck for corrupted windows etc and the last thing i havent tried is rolled back my windows, But if you haven't had any luck with that, then I don't think I'll have any luck too, so I'll give up trying that and wait for any other News![]()
I'm fightning with this error for 3days already and still have no clue what is causing it
One of my friends fixed his error by downloading DDU (Display driver uninstaller) uninstalling his video drivers and not reinstalling them. its kind of an odd way to do it but until there is a better fix, this is something to try
Hello,
why are you running a Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB version with outdated version/build (14393, 2016) ? actual LTSB would be 19044, but still the question: why are you running this? this is not for consumer and not for gaming in any way.
Second, your graphic driver ist outdated, its still from 2021. Newer can only be installed with newer Windows versions. (see above).
If you have a valid windows licence key, i would install windows 10/11 clean.
hola chicos yo probe esta solución y no me funciono ya que ese dll es vulkan (amd) y mi pc es Intel. por otro lado a mi primo si le funciono. quien fue el genio que lo creo, no podrá crear uno para Intel![]()
Same here, constant directX crashes, just a few days ago I was playing shadow of the erdtree with 0 issues.
I unplugged all usb devices, updated my graphics, make sure windows is up to date, reinstall the game, repair the game, and today I can even go past two quests without a crash.
I doubt is our system problem, as every expansion has the same issues on launch, and it's been an ongoing problem for some people that tends to fix itself after some time....
