Right now early on in Dawntrail I have no investment to be here. I was not convinced by the rushed 6+ patch content that I should help Wuk Lamat win the throne. If anything it convinced me that she doesn't deserve it.

OK do you want to know what's the difference between how Lyse was written and how Wuk is written?

The people in charge of writing for Stormblood were more subtle by comparison.
We technically did a lot for Lyse that we're asked to do for Wuk Lamat. The difference is it's 5x more forced. Like a version of our interaction with Lyse translated to the standards of an 8 year old child.

Dawntrail reads and looks like it was written by people with background on slice of life anime aimed to 12~14 year olds. Which makes sense since 6.1~6.5 also felt like a slice of life pre-teen comedy anime writer was trying to write an epic story.

The entire setup of all these characters just feels C tier. Wuk aside, I honestly think this is the worst expansion story, at least to the point I have been up too. I pray it gets better later on, around 93ish currently. I have had to take breaks and force myself to play because I have had so little enjoyment with the story so far.
