INC Stormblood 2.0, except this character is somehow more annoying than Lyse with the discount VA they hired for the part.

Rule #1 for character writing in games and movies (where you don't have the detail available in books): If you are going to have a character who is an idiot then they need to be charming/sympathetic or the audience will just find them annoying. So Wuk Lamat is clearly an idiot but is she charming? That's a personal taste issue but I would be willing to bet that a significant number of players do not find her charming or sympathetic so to them she isn't working as a character right now.

Don't get me wrong this is VERY early days so they have time to build her character and course correct but if she continues being both an idiot and having no charm then she's dead weight as a character.

I don't think it's a VA issue personally. I think the writing of her character is just horribad. There is only so much a VA could do.

The plot hasn't gotten so dire for her plucky personality to really spoil anything imo.

I don't mind her as a character but the super wacky hijinks she gets up to remind me of Hildibrand quests. I hate Hildibrand quests. I feel like my character can't in good conscience want her on the throne. I'd much rather throw my support behind her nerdy catboy brother.
