The thing with poochie is there's also a clear framing in the episode of corporate interference in an attempt to make a marketable character.

I bring it up because I can't help but think of who might really be causing such bizarre writing directions in the past few years. New inept writers who are bound and restricted by 10 years of lore and story, or producers who want to keep their marketable scions around to sell merch, overpriced store outfits and......whatever those creepy dolls are meant to be.

She really does have "high level meddling" written all over her. I hope the backlash makes them think a bit. The character is not bad. But they need to reconsider the framing and implementation and realize a character like that works better in moderation.

I'm gonna add Captain Marvel to the list. Wuk Lamat runs into the same problem, the people in charge are so desperately trying to make her a thing, that the audience is starting to reject her. The more you push and force a character on people, the bigger the audience pushback is gonna be.

I only hope she's gonna share a similar fate and basically only gets cameo appearances in the future. There needs to be a Thanos moment, where Wuk Lamat gets punshed off screen by the next big bad and isn't seen again until the last cutscene of the patch, just standing in the crowd.

My gosh I reached the lvl95 area where FINALLY you get rid of Wuk Lamat and go with Erenville to have a little of adventurer time and they really went full Poochie with her dropping her stupid name at every ocasion they have with that stupid bracelet.

I love my friend's reaction to the first time seeing her. He doesnt play the game but was so curious about what caused the fanbase to split. His first reaction was "This is the character? Wait a minute.... even the name is stupid!".

Gotta say, I just did the 99 trial - as a sage in trust - and I didn't heal Poochie Lameass once. My kardia was even on Thancred (or was that 'Raha?).

So, I watch her hp by habit and she gets down to about 20%, and 2 echo-filled GCDs and she is self-healed back to full health. She's going up against a Trial boss on level. I have to retry that, let the others die off somehow so it's just Poochie and Jaja, staying alive so the trial doesn't end, and I bet she'd take him down single handed.

The fun question will be, are there places in the game we can actually get her killed, like any of the rest of our trust?
