Yeah, bit too much emphasis on changing the artstyle than to replace the shader and improve the textures.

Nope, I read that just fine. I'd rather they divert their resources to things I find more worthwhile

Although I'm unhappy with current changes, I don't know if it's a good idea to just revert the graphics, eventually they needed to be upgraded because the game looks old (like it is). I still think the problem remains with the changes uncalled for...

If I had the option tho I would use it, because I don't like this mix of halfHD/half pixeled clothes and ambient+mannequin like faces of the current game state... It feels half baked and also causes me eye strain the grainy backgrounds

I'm someone who is in the "my character looks bad" camp, and even I can admit that this is a terrible idea. This would require SE to have two pipelines for assets from dawntrail onwards, and would essentially double the size of the game files. The "old version" of dawntrail would be something they need to create, they don't just press a button to turn the enhancements off.

all we are asking is to bring back the old graphics for our characters, not the entire game.. surely that wouldn't double the size of the game files?
