    Can't play Dawntrail early access on Xbox (No valid service account is available)

    Hello,
    I have an issue when playing FFXIV Dawntrail early access on Xbox.

    I have been playing FFXIV and all of its expansions on PlayStation 4 and I recently purchased an Xbox Series X|S and wanted to play FFXIV there using my normal account. However, when logging in on Xbox I receive an ERROR message saying “No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV. In order to play FINAL FANTASY XIV, you must first purchase the Xbox Series X|S version from the Microsoft Store.”

    When looking up this error I was redirected here:

    I followed the steps and am already having problems with the first one. I have gone to the Mog Station and when trying to add the Xbox Series X|S platform it only shows me the option to purchase the game from the Microsoft store (consoles do not have a registration code), and indeed after clicking the link it brings me to the Microsoft store that says I already own this item. But on the Mog Station there is no check mark next to “Xbox Series X|S” meaning I have not obtained the license for the Xbox Series X|S version.

    I have linked both my FFXIV account and Xbox account to the official Square-Enix website yet the communication between the two is completely broken. How can I tell my Square-Enix FFXIV account that I indeed have purchased everything for FFXIV on Xbox Series X|S?

    Hi, I have the same issue (sort of)

    Hi, did you happen to fix your problem?

    I have been playing in pc and i have my xbox and Square Enix accounts linked.
    i bought the game complete version in xbox too, and it just wont show that i have an xbox license to play the game.

    when logging in it tells me
    -ERROR
    "Final fantasy xiv has not yet been registered with this service account or your subscription has expired.

    Please exit and restart the game [...]"

    I have spoken to Square Enix support at least 5 times and with Microsoft support another 4. It is no joke they have sent me with each other every single time pointing fingers.

    also i post here because i wish this problem was more widely known, i rather have them tell me its a known issue etc etc.
