Game Keeps Crashing at Specific Part of Ghimlyt Dark

I first ran into this issue on the 25th when I was trying to clear the dungeon for the MSQ, running it with NPCS. Every time I get to the second section of enemies after the first boss my game crashes with what looks to be a DX 11 error. During maintenance I have worked on getting my drivers and things like that updated in hopes that either that or the graphics update would magically solve my problem. Upon logging in this morning and braving the dungeon again I got the same crash in the same spot. I tried looking into fixes for the DX 11 crashes but all the solutions I got seemed to only work through old versions of the game (changing to DX 9 in the launcher for example). Is there any way to fix this? I run the game on an external drive because the game would be too large for me to feasibly fit onto my computer, my first assumption was this was the problem, but I have been able to run almost every dungeon and all of STB fine up until this point. I restored my game data on the 25th and that didn't work and have reset my settings multiple times.

My last resort is just buying a Tales of Adventure to skip the quest but I am worried that will only be a temporary fix and I'll be unable to do anything if this happens again. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
