it/its - 14 accessibility is bad, ease of access is not accessibility, jobs are boring. Transphobia ruins real attempts at criticism and it's whack.
Oh my god they actually wont let you turn off the glare anymore xDDDDDDDD
Wet surfaces was good to turn off for performance too...
Yeah the graphics were updated. Updated from a 2014 game to a 2011 game xD
That too. It really put a damper on the whole graphics update for me.
It's more like a downgrade now...

I mean, not to be rude but it’s an improvement after all.
If your machine can’t keep the pace it’s not the game/SE’s fault.
Anyway, since I have also a potato build (Ryzen 3700x + 3060RTX), what helped me to get the 60 solid at 2k was just enabling the LOD system for all feature which can be LOD’ed, the rest set to maximum.
Still you get the 40/50 when entering Tuliyollal in certain areas but for the 90% of the game is a solid 60 fps (locked at 60).
Well, just reached the final DT area and I can't stay there. I can't finish the MSQ because this area gives me physical pain X_X
If anyone has a workaround for this so I can get through this area please share it with me...
Boop!
My advice is if it causes you that much discomfort to the point of physical pain, just don't play the game for now.
Just wait for the devs acknowledgement, because something tells me this thread will keep going the more ppl notice they just can't phisically handle the visual changes (glare / motion blur / etc).
Any blur of any kind in any game is the bane to my existence. I can tolerate it in movies but in games it feels like im halucinating when my character causes the blur, as if Im doing something wrong or weird. Ive had a bit of headache since release, didnt pay attention to it. Only after reading this thread I realized I used to play with glare off and FXAA turned off. This time I had glare on and the new AA on. This game always have bad AA..... its so annoying. But when you turn it off the characters become PSX models with all the jagged edges.

Seems to be my only option then...not what I was hoping for but probably for the better. Thank you.

Guessing you haven't read a majority of the posts in this thread lol.I mean, not to be rude but it’s an improvement after all.

Most of the people here aren't having an issue with performance. The issue stands with the fact that SE has removed graphics options that have been in the game for ~10 years. This in turn has made the game look subjectively worse for some of us. On top of the fact that their implementation of upscaling tech has been a lazy one at best.
As someone else recently mentioned, this feels more like a downgrade overall than an upgrade, but to each their own.
