Alright, non bait post. What the hell is DynamicRezoThreshhold

Probably the FPS threshold for enabling Dynamic Resolution scaling.
Ahh but it's useless, it's all useless!

I didn't have a problem with it when I was doing the story, but after a day of grinding levels in dungeons, I've also had an issue with eye strain. I've never had this issue with the game before. I was wondering if might need to turn off my own spell effects or something, I have it set to only show mine, but with all the stuff going on in some fights, I feel like I might need to just have them all off.
I don't know if it's eye strain, but I have noticed that my vision has worsened since Dawntrail came out. I thought it was just me though more than the game, maybe there's more to it than I thought.
99.99% chance probably a Titanman alt

After around 1-2h of playing I am running into issues myself. In the new 2nd city it only takes maybe 5-8 minutes at best. I haven't had any issues before DT release with any of the regions not did I run into any issues after 8h+ sessions. Now I can be happy to even get stuff done. :/ Other games are fine, only XIV is causing these issues for me. Also tried the FSR 99 thingy suggested earlier but the game looks horrible with this overtuned sharpness so it's not a solution either.
At this point I might as well cancel my sub because I don't really see a reason to continue playing a game that is causing physical harm.
Boop!

Yes mostly with the wobbly mount mechanics now but for those of us with that problem it stinks.
Wise men speak because the have something to say, fools because they have to say something. - Plato - He saw the ff forums apparently.
Here is a screenshot of my character comparing how bad it is with "Dawntrail Glare:Low" versus "Endwalker Glare: Off".
All light sources in Dawntrail have a very strong bright halo effect, now imagine it all over the screen in raids or towns (gold saucer comes to mind), no wonder i've been having headaches.
And no matter the ingame time of day the halo is allways present even if you don't immediately notice it.
Now put the motion blur of DLSS/FSR on top of it, i think i don't need to say more.

We're at 69 likes. Nice.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind people not to forcefully play the game despite their eye strain problems. Doing so may have permanent effects on your vision, and no game is worth that.
I'm personally really not in the mood to be playing other games, but seeing as SE has decided to resolve this issue with the speed of a particularly lazy hedgehog (not the blue kind), there's not really much of a choice. Yippee.
It feels like I walked in the back door of FFXIV and saw things I wasn't supposed to see
The glare the glare mage was glaring: glares at me
it/its - 14 accessibility is bad, ease of access is not accessibility, jobs are boring. Transphobia ruins real attempts at criticism and it's whack.
Me after logging in to see if anything has changed:
(also bump cause I don't have anything to add to the subject but have major cope that SOMEONE from SE will see and respond)
