Guess who's back? Fatal direct X error 11000002

I'm having the same Fatal DirectX Error 11000002, just randomly crashing. Sometimes it works for a few hours sometimes I crash 5 times in 30 minutes. Haven't had a single crash before Dawntrail. I'm using a GTX 1080 and i7 8700k on Win10.
Uninstalled, Updated and Installed all relevant drivers a bunch of times, did a game repair, a full reinstallation, played around with Nvidia settings, disabled the Nvidia Overlay. I pretty much did everything I could find on the topic but nothing worked so far. Don't think theres anything else I can do on my end so hopefully SE can roll out a fix soon.

I've tried everything too and this error has been coming up for years. As always it's OUR fault never the devs. I do understand they need to tick things off a list but the fact that this issue still comes up this far into the games overall release means it's not everyone else's hardware and software.
I have less frequent crashes with capping frames to 60, running on fullscreeen, turning the shadow settings down to around medium on all the different ones, change to FSR as said be other posters and unticking the 'dynamic resolution' box (kind of hard to spot but is on the graphics settings tab)

I hope all this works for people so you can play. I'm managing to get through the MSQ now and doing daily roulettes ok but still the odd crash everynow then. Still living in fear
