A very pathetic "update" imo. armour still pixalated.

Like:
It's just not the same character. The eyes. She looks way more distinct previously. Doesn't look right at all.
Same thing with my au ra.

is not like we pay their salary right...or like WE are customers , whether you like it or not , some companies/corpos NEED to hear this in that tone and with cussing included , granted they can "ignore" but there's so much ignoring can accomplish...losing business, sponsoring and customers will be the end result for such practice.
why is WoW living rent free inside your heads?
I wish the update hadn't happened this way, to say the least. The face is entirely different and this isn't the same character anymore.

And the original, incredibly talented artists worked so hard to create us our beloved designs which have been thrown aside
This character update has brought me more stress than it did happiness

Yeah, my WoL changed from a male Hyur to a Hrothgal with a different name. That update really messed up my WoL
Try the starlight actress in the boys. Complete tragedy what she did to herself, letting them cut up her face like that and shave her bones.
Ah, i saw ps5 players complaining they cant increase resolution over 1080.PS3 support was removed with Shadowbringers. The PS4 and PS5 are functionally identical and you just get a resolution nerf for the PS4. I don't know if the console versions have access to the high resolution textures or not.
Like the focus I've largely seen is on the character faces and the fabrics of the clothing (not all clothing actually looks better, some gear just looks the same probably because it was already higher resolution in the first place, like the Shisui sets.) It's very likely gear released during endwalker was already higher resolution, but not all the textures were exported as such during endwalker, like the crafted gear.
At any rate what they did to the faces was very much a shader code thing, but it also still has the problem of dark characters (eg Erenville) basically having no visible features unless standing directly in the light.
