[Xbox] Game Crashes in loading transitions

I can't even login. I get to the launcher, put in proper info, get the play button, hit it and it shuts down. It was running fine before this new expansion. I was playing it Wednesday. I tried to have the game reinstall the files for corruption, still just shuts down. What a waste of time and money on my part. So much for early access.

That sounds like an issue unrelated to the issue us Xbox players are having. You may want to check the forums for PC players with a similar issue.

They do hot fixes in these situations normally, but this is the first time something like this happened for Xbox, so hopefully they take it just as serious and not ignore it because it's a least popular platform.

I'm having the same issue

The Xbox version is the only version that requires 2 sub's to play too unfortunately. We pay more for less. =(

It’s just getting worse at this point for me. Sargantas is getting very populated right now… just got DCed and am now 800+ in Q they better fix this asap.. I get it… it’s early release but how are we the only ones with this issue

Game is pretty much unplayable on Xbox right now, waited 55 minutes to get through a 1100 person queue, only to queue for daily roulette and get frozen screen when loading into dungeon, then put right back into a queue of 1700 people :/ same thing if I play MSQ as soon as a cutscenes ends and transitions back I get frozen screen again, not much I can do till Square fixes, please!!!

So, yeah, it wouldn't be so bad if it recognized that you were booted and held you in some sort of purgatory state that let you log back in, but yeeting us into the queue like a first-time login is the big thing. It was annoying but palatable most of the day when I just force-quit the game and relogged, but now I'm sitting in a long queue after a crash?

Oh well. I know BU3/SE knows about it, and is trying to figure out what's going on with the client that's making this desync/freeze thing happen and fix it, but it's still rough.

At this point we gotta put our tinfoil hats on and think this is intentional… at the very least negligence because Xbox was the last platform to get in

I just wanted to report that I freeze anytime I try to queue for a dungeon on my Astrologian. I tried a duty support and a queue with a friend. Froze both times. I’ve also frozen using an athernet.

Given what I’ve heard of freezing during cutscenes I’d like to argue that FFXIV on Xbox is near unplayable. These are issues that cannot wait a long time for a patch. This needs a hot fix asap.
