Hello,

I have been experiencing latency issues for the past few months during prime hours on the EU server Chaos ( 5 to 10 pm CET). Whilst all other games run fine during these times and nothing else is causing any problems, I decided to make a trace route to see where my issue comes from.

This is my trace route:
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms speedport.ip [192.168.2.1]
2 2 ms 2 ms 1 ms p3e9bf6fe.dip0.t-ipconnect.de [62.155.246.254]
3 5 ms 6 ms 6 ms f-ed12-i.F.DE.NET.DTAG.DE [62.154.17.90]
4 133 ms 153 ms 134 ms ffm-b5-link.ip.twelve99.net [213.248.93.186]
5 116 ms 97 ms 94 ms ffm-bb1-link.ip.twelve99.net [62.115.114.88]
6 * * * Zeitüberschreitung der Anforderung.
7 115 ms * * squareenix-ic-369631.ip.twelve99-cust.net [80.239.195.85]
8 134 ms 117 ms 101 ms 80.239.145.241
9 115 ms 116 ms * 80.239.145.6
10 * 117 ms 120 ms 80.239.145.6

Whilst the first hops are fine, my problems start on the 4th hop, which seems to be located in Denmark according to an IP Trace. From there my signal is then send to the US to then be send back to Europe to connect to to the IP Adress of the Chaos Data Centre.
I have been in contact with my internet provider to see if anything could be done on their end but since everything is running fine with my connection, it's not their concern.
Seeing it's the hops from my end to the FF XIV servers that are causing this issue, I was hoping that someone here can help me find a solution to this problem.

My connection to my router is wired and whilst a VPN fixes the issue I am having, I can't imagine that this is the solution for me to be able to play the game without having constant lags. I hope that someone can help me solve this issue
