It has been told over a week ago that you should strongly consider switching back to your home world prior maintenance.

Also: " When a World has reached the maximum number of visiting characters, non-Home World characters that are logged out on that World will need to return to their Home World via the login menu. Additionally, the World will become unavailable for visitation via the World Visit System. (Updated 28 June 2024)"

Which would be great if it worked...my server is literally unable to be selected as a return to home option. That is the message it gives. Also, not everyone pays close attention to every single news post, least of all when not really actively playing while waiting for the expansion.

Gotta say, implementing a softlock/game brick feature in an MMO is definitely a bold direction I wasn't expecting the developers to go in this expansion. Bravo, SE.

Not the only one unable to log in, I hopped over to Faerie due to not having friends I talk to over on Exodus. Am currently sat in a discord call with friends on Faerie who are waiting for me to log in, "This world is experiencing congestion. Visiting characters cannot log in at this time." Yeah great idea S.E. -.-

I can also tell you I'm not waiting 2-3 weeks to be able to log back in.

Just a vague descriptor that says it may take more time to transfer in news article you have to click 3 different links to get to.

World travel is shut down in DCs. You can transfer to Dynamis or Materia and back to your home world. I'm assuming since world travel is down that's probably why people can't get back/shuffle between worlds on your DC or things are so insanely congested right now that you'll have to wait.

Either way, this has been known about for weeks now through Lodestone and there have been 1 or 2 threads about it on here as well. I'm assuming the same can be said for Reddit and I'm sure there's at least 1 CC who made a video about it.
