Stranded off Home Realm

Just gonna copy/paste my reddit post on it because I want a fix as soon as possible.

A minute before the servers shut off a couple nights ago for DT maint, I only then remembered to hop off Bryn and back to Mateus, but I kept getting an error message about it being unavailable at the moment over and over until it went off. Now servers are back up, and I see world travel is unavailable at this time. Nor can I try a data center method because not on home realm. Is there a way to ticket a GM or something to send me home? I prepared mats for viper and painter weapons and can't access retainers here...

Further, if it's literally shut off at the moment, does anyone know for how long?

Until extreme congestation is over 2 to 3 weeks I presume.

They did gave a lot of warnings though. That said they should make it so people aren't able to lock themselves out.

It has been told over a week ago that you should strongly consider switching back to your home world prior maintenance.

Also: " When a World has reached the maximum number of visiting characters, non-Home World characters that are logged out on that World will need to return to their Home World via the login menu. Additionally, the World will become unavailable for visitation via the World Visit System. (Updated 28 June 2024)"

I'm completely locked out of the game. A lot of warnings my ass, this is the first time I'm hearing it.
Why didn't they just force everyone back to their home realms? I can't log in at all because the world I'm at is considered congested and visitors are treated as second class citizens and not allowed to queue.

I can also tell you I'm not waiting 2-3 weeks to be able to log back in.

Which would be great if it worked...my server is literally unable to be selected as a return to home option. That is the message it gives. Also, not everyone pays close attention to every single news post, least of all when not really actively playing while waiting for the expansion.

Have you read the TOS? Not really you sign away you "rights" when you accept the end user license. Besides they aren't taking it away they will fix it you just have to wait.

Gotta say, implementing a softlock/game brick feature in an MMO is definitely a bold direction I wasn't expecting the developers to go in this expansion. Bravo, SE.
