    Dawntrail fight design is some of the best we've seen in normal content.

    I like it a lot. Just really wanted to say that. It's just enough to keep you engaged with the game without feeling too punishing. Obviously we're still in the honey moon phase of the expansion and people are still learning the fights and once people get better geared and become knowledgeable with the fights things will change.

    I like the overall fight designs in both dungeons and trails. EX1 is probably my favorite Extreme in the game right now (Maybe tied with 6.4 EX if I really think about it) and I'm looking forward to tackling EX2 and the upcoming savage tier.

    Please continue to test the limits with what you can do and experiment with in dungeons and trials. Pushing players helps them improve overall and once people do so the feedback of being "too hard" will die down a little bit.

    If I had to make one complaint about the duties/trials in DT so far, it's that there are far too many random AOE spam mechanics. Like someone saw Cinduruva in Tower of Zot and thought it was the peak of fight design.

    Outside of that, spectacular.

    (also it might be a skill issue but the last boss of skydeep cenote is a p.i.t.a.)

    I'll admit, the new dungeons and trials have been a W so far in dawntrail, and I'm having a blast with it.

    I love fights requiring some brain power. I know i've seen a handful of people complaining about not being able to progress (it's very few, so i have a solution)
    Let trusts ressurect players so those who are incapable of doing the msq can still clear, and allow solo scenario difficulty to be an option in the menu, rather than have to die once to change it.
    This way players who want more compelling leveling content can have that, and those who don't or can't clear it, have an option

    I really, really hope they stick to their guns and keep delivering on fight design (especially with raids next week)

    I'm so thankful the fight design has been good this expansion, because that was the only thing I had left to cling to to keep pushing through the MSQ by the end (and I'm normally a huge story and lore person). I've tried the first EX and am having a good time progging so far, so I hope the raid fight design continues that trajectory.

    I honestly prefer the random AoE spam over the typical "stand in this fixed safe zone to not die" because optimizing uptime during them is more difficult.

    I died a bunch in the MSQ dungeon bosses but it was cool because the new teleport system gets me back in the action instantly. Good stuff. If you're going to make things harder, having some qol goes a long way.

    Dawntrail dungeons are the best.. please keep pushing challenges

    Tower of Zot genuinely has to be one of the most snoozefest dungeons in the game. While Ihuykatumu is on a rail system for the first part which I'll admit I don't like too much but the theme is great and the fights are fun. But yea overall the changes in fight design from Shadowbringers/Endwalker into Dawntrail is the best part of the expansion. I haven't had this much fun with the game in a long time.

    I think the most important thing about what you posted is that most people can and will get better. These are dungeons many will run for years. It's ok to have some feedback in the beginning that they're a little tough imo. Especially since power creep from gear will set in. It has already in people rushing to get tomes.
