Can you please activate the 'Return to Home World' button in the character screen?

Tried to get back to Behemoth, have been trying for over two hours now. Sent a message to SE about it and get an email back saying its fixed.

Its not.

This is the first expansion I get to play live and I've asked off work for it and everybody I know is playing and having fun and I can't.

Currently, all Worlds on the North America data center, except for Dynamis Worlds, are at their login limit. Aether Data Center in particular has long queues for each of its Worlds.

Those who are looking to avoid login queues are recommended to use Data Center Travel to visit the Dynamis Data Center as it still has room to accommodate players. Once the World login limit is reached, the stress placed on the server is substantial. So, as a precaution against Worlds going down under heavy loads, those who are currently away from their Home World may be unable to return temporarily.

While we experienced issues surrounding returning to Home Worlds at the start of early access, the current message: "Unable to select [World] as a destination for Return to Home World requests at this time" is normal. This means your Home World is at capacity and not accepting logins or returns. While unable to return to your Home World, you may continue to play on your current World and try to return again later.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep the service operating optimally.

Yeah, as others have said, if I could even log onto the current server I'd be fine, but visitors aren't allowed to do that. I can't go home, I can't randomly world visit (which was created in the first place to help with congestion, wasn't it?), and I can't log on. I paid for a preorder, traveled to another world as instructed, and now can't play what I paid for at all. It's frustrating to say the least.

Hi Zhexos, thanks for the update.

While it's understandable what you said, there's still a lot of people in a limbo that can't do anything at all.

For example, my friend from Behemoth for some reason traveled to Aether DC.

Currently he can't:
#1 Log in to Aether:

#2 He can't return to their original server.

And lastly, #3, he can't go to another world (e.g Dynamis as well as it's disabled).

So, login is disabled, return to homeworld is disabled, and transfer to another world is also disabled.

How can he proceed, then?

This is my current scenario as well, and I know a few other people with the same issues. "While unable to return to your Home World, you may continue to play on your current World and try to return again later." is simply not true. If we were able to queue on the data center we're visiting then it would be fine but we are locked out from logging in as well by error code 3088.

Still unable to return back to my home world gilgamesh, still stuck on balmung.

I wish there was two seperate lines that are functional at all times, of folks trying to log in to the homeworld, and folks that trying to return back to their homeworld, and like a traffic officer, allow these two to switch to let folks back in.

There's a group of people who are currently entirely incapable of playing the game due to rampant eye strain issues caused by the graphical update. We need a response of some kind.

mine doesn't say "Unable to select [World] as a destination for Return to Home World requests at this time"... what is error code 3309? I can travel between any other two servers in Aether ok just not return to Gilgamesh...

I am unable return to my Home Data Center, which is Crystal. I keep getting and error that we cannot be transferred at this time. Seems like I am stuck on another data center until the congestion goes away. My poor crops in my FC house . . . I just hope I can get to my FC house before the time out happen, so I don't lose it. If I lose it, someone is going to have a bad day, lol.
