Can you please activate the 'Return to Home World' button in the character screen?

I assumed just as every major update or expansion in the past that the game would just automatically send me to my home world. Now I cannot log in because I'm on a different world, the 'return to home world' button does not work and I cannot log into any data center that allows transfer. Can the Return to Home World button be activated please so I can use it to log in? Or am I screwed for the next 3 or 4 weeks before the server stability (something that SE had years to prepare for) is back to normal?

Same happened to me.
Couldn't log in before maintenance and now I'm stuck at character loggin screen, not being able to log into the World where I am or going back to my own.

I am stranded off my home realm as well and unable to travel back.

They did suggest returning to your Home World before the update in order to avoid congestion issues.

From the pre-launch announcement:

Additionally, characters that were visiting another World prior to Patch 7.0 will still be able to return to their Home World regardless of traveling restrictions, but their ability to return may be temporarily impeded by periods of server congestion. As such, if your character is currently visiting a World that will have traveling restrictions, we advise returning them to their Home World before Patch 7.0 maintenance begins, as the restrictions will lower your login priority.

After trying again, I was able to log into Lamia (My home world is Hyperion). Now the question is...do i stay here? Or try to head back to my home server? I assume the attempt to head back to my home server will not work. I'm debating on trying to return home to switch over to Dynamis to play with friends. But I dont want to play now and be locked out again tomorrow when I try to log in again. What do you all recommend, or if this was your case, what would you do?


EDIT: So apparently you can log into a world that is not your home world if you logged off before update there. The only thing is that the game will give priority to the people who are from that world over you. It just takes more time than normal. Took me about 30 min total to get sorted.
