If Yoshida dropped all pretense that he gives a shit and said yes, how would you react?

At least it would be an answer. For those who held out hope that something could change, they could then move on from it. Either by giving up and using a fantasia, or by just quitting the game outright.

Obviously I would prefer if they can fix the lingering issues but being held in limbo for a year+ is not exactly fair. This is a subscription based game, the more they make people wait, the more money they get I guess. But it will just make those waiting more and more bitter.

What I suspect is the dev has very (very) few people or even one person doing these character graphic fixes which is why it took forever to release each baby number fixes.
It’s been over a year and there are so little fixes done, many got brushed off as specs.
Simple and obvious stuffs like Viera black nose, textures still broken etc. still got ignored.
I really don’t know what they’re doing all this time.

This is what I suspect as well. It would also explain why the vast majority of 'fixes' were textures or normal maps, with almost no geometry changes. So much for all that testing they were going to do so that they could fix jawlines, because those weren't touched at all.

The lighting in a lot of cutscenes (namely big rooms, boss arenas etc) has a tendency to make my WoL (female Miqo'te) look like a cross between a hamster hiding food in her cheeks and a deer in headlights. I don't really mind but it might be worth mentioning.

I also just realized a while ago as I was sifting and deleting old screenies off my drive, then coming across one of the screenies I took 13 months ago to make one of those feedback posts in another big feedback thread...

I just want to thank everyone for staying strong and making our concerns heard in preserving the true look of our characters. There are definitely still issues that need fixing, and it's important that the dev team is reminded that we, the players and paying customers, still care deeply about the game.
