This comparison does help quite a bit. I agree that the cupid's bow looks much better, but the actual philtrum seems... about the same? It's really hard to tell, but I hope they restore the slight widening toward the lips that the original face 1 had.

I'm also glad I was wrong about the eyeliner being there! I hope that means it'll be back to its old self.

Same, I can't tell about the philtrum at all because their pic is very flat there due to the face being shadow. Here's hoping that also adjusted, cuz I saw it mentioned *a lot*.

The immediate thing that I notice on the comparison is that they haven't fixed the unnatural inward puckering of the upper lip.

Also I feel like the glass on the glasses looks too clear now, as if she's wearing empty frames.

I think she looks like she has a mad stare still....the one thing I am bothered by and only noticed last night was that some hairstyles look like they are lifting off my characters head. I cannot post a pic but it was on the Lyse hairstyle and a few more it looks like it is not attatached to their head and there is a gap it looks so bad at the back near the neck >.<

I feel tomorrow - it's going to be three camps. Those happy with the new adjustments. Those who liked their new characters that now have to fantasia again because of the changes and are pissed. Folks who are still unhappy with everything. I do feel this is not something that continue forever. Eventually, Yoshi P and team are going to have to draw a line in the sand otherwise this turns into a new fantasia every patch.

I think folks on all sides need to prepare there is no "make everyone happy" solution. In the end, some folks will always not be satisfied.

Such a point of view might hold more weight if you didn’t spend so much time antagonizing everybody who loved their characters and were pissed about the changes during the first benchmark release. Nobody thinks this is going to go on forever, but they confirmed changes are happening until at least 7.2. Your female Hrothgar didn’t exist before the GU, they’re not going to change her at all, lol.

They should fix the bugs first, they have introduced. Seriously, how can they overlook glitches like this:

It is literaly in the character creation screen. It seems, that they did not even look at that stuff, they have created.

More interesting is, that they have moved my threads into the "Insufficient Information" forums although other threads with less informations have been accepted.

So yes, i guess, some people will be unhappy with the changes.

At some point SE would need to realize the only way to satisfy both side is to expand their character creator system to include both old and newer options, something that they could've probably done by now if only they reinvest proper amount of profits they've amassed over the years back to the game rather than diverting them for their plethora of flipflopping games. Call it a blind guessing if you will; to me it's hard to not think of that when QC has been missing not only here but many other parts of the game as well.

I have no more race to this matter since weeks before they launched 7.0 as I've taken the matters into my own hand. I am bitter over that, but if they won't do it, then somebody has to. I sincerely hope there are more happies than saddies in the upcoming change in less than 24hr from now. Keep fighting.

And for me that was absolutely the biggest problem across all my characters… *sigh* guess we’ll see tomorrow. They still haven’t gone into specifics as to what exactly they changed, and have also said not all changes will be ready for 7.1, so I guess keep the new free Fantasia on ice for awhile? lol

Dude, all you do is come into this thread to be dismissive of everyone’s feelings (because you’re worried about them changing something that is literally the one unaffected thing from the graphical update?). “Since June” is a very generous take, but if it helps you, go ahead. I’m not going to continue another back-and-forth in this thread.

Anyway, it’s extremely possible to keep a majority happy; they haven’t even begun the changes for the objectively, haphazardly done graphic update. But let’s keep pretending everyone is asking for way more than they actually are.
