Aether, Primal, Crystal and most of EU Congested status

As expected, SE has changed the status of all Aether, Primal and Crystal worlds to Congested.

All Dynamis worlds remain listed as New.

All EU worlds except the 4 newest EU worlds are Congested, with the latter 4 all Standard. There is no EU world that has New or Preferred status for Road to 90.

Materia has no changes so all worlds remain New.

This is Congested status, not the usual character creation lock that cycles during the day. It's possible that some will be changed back to Standard in patch 7.01 but I wouldn't bet on any changes happening before 7.05.

Hope no one was planning to create new Hrothgar female characters on their Congested NA/EU home worlds when the servers come up. If you still want to make one in the next few weeks you're going to be limited to the Dynamis worlds, Alpha, Phantom, Raiden, Sagittarius and the Materia worlds.

The reason for this is probably (and this might be a stretch) that they want people to stop crowding the other NA worlds and actually populate the new ones they added earlier this month.

Which they are not in the wrong for doing. Aether, Primal, and Crystal players love to complain about [side effect of their worlds being overpopulated], and then continue to overpopulate their worlds.

I think I said this before but if they want Dynamis DC to not be dead, then they need to lock down the other 3 NA DCs. Seems they're following through with that.

I don't mind since Dynamis really needs more people there and at least with the current restrictions, Dynamis should see vastly improved que times for content since all Dynamis players that normally go to another DC will be forced to stay in Dynamis along with the other DC travelers that want to do content with friends outside their home worlds.
