I have to admit, I was kind of expecting this... It seemed from the beginning that it was unintentional and they just forgot to stop them from stacking, but I have to say I'm still a little disappointed. I was really looking forward to playing SGE this upcoming tier because of the two dots and the addition of Psyche.

I imagine the point is simply to make it easier to balance. That seems to be the reasoning behind 90% of the homogenisation and job design recently - which I can appreciate, they certainly make balancing gradually harder as they add more and more jobs. But I think I personally would prefer slightly worse balancing for slightly better job individuality... Every healer having a single 30s DoT, one spammable GCD and then one vaguely unique cooldown you can press only 1-3 times a minute really makes it feel like levelling the same class four times over rather than four individual classes.
