Is this some sort of joke? I cannot for the life of me comprehend what your thought processes are.
Coming from a tank main and a generally bad healer in MMO's, this is some of the most atrociously designed I've ever seen healer role, and the worst part is that it's being tripled down on. It is by far the most boring role in the game. And no, as already proven in other threads, savage and ultimate do NOT alleviate the issues. You buffed tank sustain and kept Warrior's overpowered party healing when it has been repeated over and over again that it was not needed because the healer is a role in the trinity. The healers that, y'know, have a ginormous abundance of healing tools in their kit, that you keep giving more of?
It is listed that you are aiming to add attack variation then you remove the one thing that actually added attack variation in healing downtime on top of it being what was marketed as the dps healer no less! Giving actions that you will only use every two minutes does not solve the monotonous one button spam of healing downtime! The only thing you've done is further enforce the 2-minute burst meta and increase the party's dps variation when the bursts happen!
The one final fabric of hope I had, the one sole thing that could've maybe made me level one healer in the vein more was actually coming in 8.0 was removed before we could even get our hands on it.
It's comical, it's sad. I'm done. I can't in good conscious play healers in Dawntrail even casually unless you somehow nail the encounter design so far out of the park it magically bypasses the current issues the healer role faces. I've seen both high end and casual healers express their dissatisfaction to be met with this absolute joke that's considered "expansion worthy changes". Being constantly berated or mocked for finally boycotting the healers and playing the dps come tomorrow after now going on third expansion of neglect.
You recall the saying "a game for everyone is a game for no one", well, let me replace some words.
A role or class for everyone is a role or class for no one.
