Imagine not clearing during maint, couldn't be me B)
heads up forum people, its true most of us are researching patch notes and the job guide to prepare for this expansion like were going to war, some of you are already mentally optimizing your rotations, ready to streamline things as much as possible and thats all well and good, but remember...
The average player is just gonna login and start playing,
they've read no patch notes or at most just skimmed them to learn where to go, and probably didnt take one peek at the job guide, they'll learn on the fly.
dont pop your top in the first dungeons because players are cranking out janky attacks,
its a game, lets all have fun most of all, the journey is the best part.![]()
I dont fuss over other players in most cases unless they're actively refusing advice and repeatedly making the same mistakes (i'm talking basic function rather than optimization, which is thankfully a rare occurrence, since most folks encountered ingame are chill or open about that sorta stuff), and it's always good to see others along for the ride on story.heads up forum people, its true most of us are researching patch notes and the job guide to prepare for this expansion like were going to war, some of you are already mentally optimizing your rotations, ready to streamline things as much as possible and thats all well and good, but remember...

Picked up healer (SCH) back in heavensward, fell in love, mained it.
Don't play healer.
It's built by people who don't play it for people who don't want to play it, in a game designed not to need it at all.
There's nothing there for you, and the devs will remove whatever you might like to fit in more redundant healing and nothing to do when healing isn't required (party not standing in orange puddles, fights being scripted that a single OGCD will do the job), so you'll just press glare/broil/dosis for all of every fight, from level 1-100, forever.
I started playing during 6.3 so this is going to be my first time playing during a new expac's launch. I'm honestly very excited to have a msq experience where I've not been spoiled to anything for the first time! And I'm interested in Solution 9 and whatever's going on with that for potential wol backstory ideas lol.
