What will happen to dated items and dated material ?

For those of you wondering what will happen to dated items in A Realm Reborn, Yoshi-P wanted us to let you all know that we will be making an announcement once the direction and specifics have been decided, based off all of your feedback of course.

Best of both worlds, reintegrate the "dated" gear into the game and drop the dated title. No one would have to know!

What I mean by that, if you have "dated iron plate cuirass" remove the "dated" and update the recipe to current (ARR) standards.

Why? As much as I love my Dated Leather Espadrilles, these items are a waste of space and they said long ago that they would be removing them. It should be everybodies expectation at this point for such a thing to take place.

If anything, there should maybe be a few weeks given where we can go trade in dated gear to an NPC for something or other, so those with a lot of stuff can feel like it wasn't just lost or sold to an NPC for pennies.
