    Some SMN rework ideas

Hello, fellow Warriors of Light! I'm Haaru Yuuji from Behemoth (Primal).

In regard of some suggestions about possible ways to make Summoner exciting, I would like to present my own ideas and changes I elaborated on a google document. Removed the icons for obvious reasons, but I would love to know your opinions and feedback on the matter.

    Check it out on: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing

The amount of concepts and changes written are very extensive, so if you guys have any doubts or in need of more information about some job action mechanics, please let me know. Go easy on me, please! LOL

    Thank you in advance <3

    _____________

Well, that's a lot to dissect in the document, so I'll be posting some concepts over here to help with the details.

    The Major Changes

    (1) SMN will have three additional egi-summons
Most of you already wanted Ramuh, Leviathan and Shiva be part of the SMN main roster of pets. So I decided to add them, with a catch: they will act as counterparts to the already existing summons of Ifrit, Titan and Garuda. To change your pets to the opposite spectrum, you must go through a rotation until reaching Arcana Shift, which will convert the roster of three egis back and forth.

    (2) Auto-attack for pets are back (yes, even Carbuncle!)
That ultimately means that the current SMN design on bringing forth summoning entities to do a flashy move and then go away is out of question. For sake of keeping the tradition of Summoners, they will be on field during battles, dealing coordinated attacks at the same target as you, after using an offensive spell.

    (3) The new pet gauge alongside pet's duration
In order to make pet's auto-attacks and pet abilities into something useful during every summoning session, I decided to convert their every action into a charging gauge, starting from level 50 when Astral Flow will be unlocked. This will act as their ultimate ability button, unleashing a powerful attack which scales with the amount of pet gauge points, before dismissing them. Additionally, with the return of the action Spur (lv. 26), pets will be generating extra gauge points during their autos upon unlocking a trait at level 56.

    (4) Aethertrail Attunement
Starting from level 50, by using your pet's ultimate skill with Astral Flow, you will be granted a stack of Aethertrail Attunement (to a maximum of three). Each stack will provide an increase of duration and damage dealt during Dreadwyrm Trance/Firebird Trance. This will act as a way to reward players with a smooth rotation and granting Arcana Shift at every big/demi summoning.
