I wondered about this. Will steam users just randomly get the CD key in their keys, or do we get an email too? I don't remember how it worked for endwalker

Good question for Valve, who is in charge of Steam-related everything for the games they sell. I believe that the 'early access' keys have been out for a while. How did Valve get them to Steam players who paid during pre-launch?

SE only has to keep track of the game keys for those who purchase direct. I've received mine already via email.

I feel this so hard. About to leave for the day myself... and have a long day tomorrow too. I stopped taking time off for early patch due to the ddos, lines, and typical early patch issues that need ironing out and just grab a ton of manuals and gather/craft away instead once I unlock 1st area/s.
