Well, we really don't know. The story of 1.23 could end in Dalamud making its final descent. It could be understood to happen between the end of 1.23 and 2.0 or it could be the start of 2.0. I don't think we really have enough information yet.

They never really said when its going to land is it? All they ever really said is that 1.23 will be the conclusion of the 7th umbral era. And isn't the main event of the 7th umbral era that dalamud fell? Just based on that I think it should be falling. But im just taking a guess it very well could be until 2.0 but idk it just seems logical to me since they said in 1.23 it's suppose to be drawing the 7th umbral era to a close.
