    It's definitely disappointing about the hairstyle. There were so many cool and interesting contest winners an they went with one of the generic kpop boyband ones.


    This one is long and pretty, and would have worked really well with the Tural aesthetic.

    This is the hairstyle I was looking forward to the most because it's very similar to the one I had on my character back in Aion lol

    What a shame.

    Lots of welcome QoL adjustments but gameplay/content-wise I was hoping for more systems to change things up a bit. This is a very minimalist update for an “expansion.”

    ShB introduced shared FATEs and the DoH/DoL scrip delivery quest system for leveling. The side quest level sync and role quest structure were new features in ShB as to how the game worked as well. Endwalker innovated even less, with off the top of my head, the special level-scaling job gear at 89-90 being the only new thing. Dawntrail doesn't seem to be contributing in terms of new gameplay/content types at launch.

    And I agree the ten-word limit on the filter is woefully inadequate. Needs to be more like 100 at the minimum.

    The requirements to register for Duty Roulette: Alliance Raids have been changed.

    Players must meet the highest item level requirements among the alliance raids they can enter at their current class or job level at the time of registration.
    I think this means they are finally taking into account which raids people can enter based on their MSQ and raid quest progress, which is great for people who are still going through the story. Veterans with everything unlocked will still be unable to item level cheese.

    Of ALL hairstyle entries that won the contest they choose the most boring one that looks like some of the other short styles we have already... At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if the curled styles get to be the last ones in the priority list.

    Nooooo that is so beautiful and would have fit in so nice with Dawntail theme. I really hope there are some hidden and we will be pleasantly suprised. Thank you for posting this It is really lovely and deserves a place in the game.
