So I'm hoping there's gonna be a nice darkmode to it.

Elden Ring removed the flashbang Bandai Namco, so it makes sense that FFXIV adds one of their own. Balance must be maintained.

As someone who enjoys low light especially when at home, I really hope they have an option to tone that down, it actually forces me to look away/close my eyes because of how bright it is.

They were concerned about it themselves, so they might adjust it a bit, but I remember it being mentioned that it was actually alright when people got used to it.

But maybe they could add a skip intro setting just for people who don't want to keep seeing it.

I get the feeling they're going to change it as it isn't the first time they had something be way too bright... Mt. Gulg at ShB launch was a thing.
