That just shows how much of an idiot you are. The problem with those sites is they don't really tell you much..

You cannot for example look at a parse and be like ok that players dragoon is i1000 and has an i950 weapon. And gear is a major component in damage.. especially with the games power creep..

So while you look at a parse and conclude that players terrible. Maybe they're not. Maybe they're playing the job properly but don't really chase the treadmill to much. It's tedious af having to rebuild every job every patch..

Also It doesn't take much to drop you from let's say 90th percentile right down to the 60s or 50s. Sometimes just 10-20 levels. And if your in the 50s your basically "average"

Also why many players pad the level requirements on pf groups because gear goes along way to cover for a bad player.

I do very much agree with the op that these things should be opt in. Not opt out. And any player dated from players not opted in should be anonymized. And show as "unknown dragoon" or something.

and no matter what you say, hardcore/semiHC static will always find a way to only recruit people that know how to press buttons and be consistent/fast learner

Aye, that's another thing, even if I *did* want to do harder content I'm not fond of using voice chat, and I know that would be a dealbreaker for some people even if I was some absolute beast at the game (which I'm not, lol).

You'd see that more in a static but even then sometimes it's just for callouts. My static has someone who very rarely talks and we're usually keeping the channel clear for our callout person while we're raiding. We chitchat between pulls or when we've got a phase down.

In PF it can be offered, but there are very few that make it a requirement and they usually say Discord required. I have some folks I run with from a community Discord and we toss out the link if they want callouts but it's never required. So you can find plenty of more casual raiders where that isn't a dealbreaker, even among statics.

Also completely agree with other posters that these sites should anonymize anyone who doesn't have an account. Because there are people who will log random casual content and then make posts on places like the bird app insulting them (where granted they get pretty torn apart for being that lame) but they don't hide the names and that's just not cool.

I do think logs should only be relevant in a static-based scenario. Something private discussed in a private setting.

Lets go back a bit. The spreadsheet was not about log numbers but what content was done.

Technically this is not the only source for this information, because there is another available officially, what is used by Lucky Bancho census - lodestone. What content is cleared can be determined by achievements.

Except they are private by default I think, and in typical Square Enix web site design fashion its easier to google how to enable them and where than figure out on your own.

I am unsure why this is the case, hiding what content you have done or not done to me looks meaningless.

If you are checking logs you are kind of a psycho stalker. I dont blame people for hiding it from people like you. Let people do the fight and then if they are obviously not doing well kick em? But to look at everything someone does ingame just because they joined your party is creepy.

I like... don't care at all about other people's logs, but this is kind of an off the walls take and it's mega weird that it has so many likes. I mean come on. Looking at someone's video game dps numbers makes them a creepy psycho stalker? Seriously? I'd say calling that take extreme would be kind.
