Privacy from third party sites

Hey I thought I would let people know that to have your data hidden on FFlogs and tomestone.gg you can go into your profile on the lodestone and put in the description of your profile:

fflogs-hidden
tomestone-hidden

Next time you are refreshed on your profile on these websites your information will be hidden. Thought I would let people know.
I don't hate these websites existing, I do however hate that they are not opt-in, If people want to parse thats fine but I value privacy and prefer to keep that between me and my static.

I would like to emphasise to people who use logs to set up hardcore high end raiding groups, I don't think thats a problem if people want to race to complete the content week one or try to parse the highest you can thats perfectly fine its how you enjoy the game. This isn't an attack on your playstyle and using logs for that is useful for your play, however people who are trying to be like that would already be parsing and logging so they would of have already opt-in, I think people should have the right to Opt-out if they don't want anyone to know that. Belittling people who have a grey parse is wrong if they're are just playing to clear the content and it will be used against people on the forums, social media and by paticularly nasty CCs so giving people access to the tools to remove themselves from this community is all im doing.

Step by step

1. go on https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/my/

2. click on the tab with your main character on it or log in with your main character

3. press on this


4. scroll down and press on the little pencil


5. add the text:
fflogs-hidden
tomestone-hidden

6. save and then you're done

Also if you wish to re-enable your profiles on these website you do the same steps but write instead:
fflogs-visible
tomestone-visible

Also to remind people. SE requested multiple times to not abuse their tolerance of parsing. If you want to use those logs in a private setting that isn't a big issue. But abusing that information to shame a group of people in game or on the forums is a big issue. If SE ever decides to act against parsing it's going to be because things like that, and you know who you can thank for it. So I would encourage the endgame focussed players with any sort of pull in that community to self regulate a bit better.

I have had one of the site set to not show my info...before all this hubub I didn't even know about the existence of the other one. That one is now blocked as well. TY to the OP
