+1 for using Squadron members in Duty Support. I don't care if their leveled stats are carrying over or they play exactly like the random Adventurer/Scions in early ARR Duty Support. I feel sorry for them rotting in this Squadron room whenever they are not on a mission to get me goodies. We're roping them into working for the Grand Companies and educating them and then they can't work in the field properly? Let them help me save the world!
- The Duty recorder.
- The Doman Enclave. Easy 20k gil a week but too much effort, and they never iterated on it even though I think the base idea of a "turn-in items you don't need for better money" was not too bad...
- Expansion hubs/cities in general. I'll never understand why there is this need to make a new hub in each expansion that makes every previous hub completely useless. Update old hubs and let people spend time in their preferred hub please.
- Everything Grand Company related as mentioned by everybody else here.
- Probably a hot take but : a lot of Gold Saucer activities. Chocobo racing, LoV, TT, mahjong. Incentivize them, simplify them, do something.
- Alt jobs. Switching jobs at will is one of this game most appealing features IMO, but yet it is strangely not encouraged at all. They basically just suggest you to level one of each role for the quests and that's about it. And then there is the adventurer in need which is...something.... But there is one feature I really like when playing VS fighting games casually: the random button. I would like to be able to just pick a roulette, and ask the game to randomly pick a job for me. Otherwise I know myself and I just end up playing the same 1 or 2 jobs all the time. And the more jobs we get the more of a problem it becomes for me personally. (also, don't get me started on having to gear up each job separately, which can be done without even playing the job at all.)
