I would want a new caster dps skilltree for the Chocobo.

(Move the Black Mage barding from the achievment vendor over to the rank 10 reward)

Tanking is usable but aggro generation could be further buffed.

while I don't expect them to update it or anything.

Also Ranged Attachments.

Just imagining a Short ballista or Mortar mounted on our bo's as they pull engaged enemies from afar.

A tab name like "Companion" implies that there were probably plans for additional companion options like the chocobo, but likely fell through given how the system hasn't seen an update in ARR at least.

But that's just speculation on my part.

I wish they'd do something more with Chocobos and Squadrons...
I'm hoping against hope that when Y'shtola finally figures out how to get back to the first to be with her boi Runar, that also means we can finally level the squadrons up further too and take them over to the spread the word and will of the Maelstrong.

Chocobos are pretty outdated to the point they still have accuracy stats.

I don't really know what could be done with them at this point, the game has moved so far away from overworld content that they basically exist just as a inconsequential boost for fate farming.

This was the original plan during the beta of 2.0. Chocobos were to join you in dungeons.

They are bound to revisit forgotten or backlogged content.

Maybe it'll be something in the future. More so since the Bo is still pushed on you as a mount. but the Combat aspect is still locked at 30.
