I'm guessing you don't have alts or friends. That's a very common way to trade large amounts of gil between characters on the same account, or to a friend without having to do 50 individual 1 million gil trades. It's even possible to bypass both seller and buyer market taxes if it's done via a Mannequin.

You can sell without paying taxes? That is new to me. But you cannot say I don't have alts or friends, since you need no friends for this trick. Logically I need this technique, if I don't have friends. If I have friends, there are many easier ways to give money to alts or friends.
