to be fair that could just be them giving gil to themself from their other character since you cant mail alt characters its a usefull way to send gil to yourself
Oh no, he's back to torture us with the same arguments he was using a year ago.
My advice is do not engage. You're not going to get anywhere. He's set in his beliefs.
I'm guessing you don't have alts or friends. That's a very common way to trade large amounts of gil between characters on the same account, or to a friend without having to do 50 individual 1 million gil trades. It's even possible to bypass both seller and buyer market taxes if it's done via a Mannequin.
That's why it's better for SE to trace where RMT gil goes instead of running a report of large value gil transactions. Most of the large transactions are perfectly innocent. 50 million gil isn't that large an amount anymore.

This is it.
That person who owns all those houses has dozens of accounts for this purpose and each of those, I guess, is paying a subscription. They probably RMT the gil and then use the real money they get from farming gil to pay the sub fees as well. Tracking this sort of thing wouldn't be hard at all, but there's a financial incentive to just do nothing.
Submarines were a mistake. They print money and let certain players amass wealth without actually engaging in the multiplayer economy. They also drive a lot of real money trading. There's no good reason for subs to exist, but it probably keeps people subbed (don't wanna lose your house, which you need for your subs, which you're invested in) which is why it stays in the game ruining housing and FCs and gil value while something comparatively harmless like coffee biscuits get nerfed into oblivion.
there is an area like that on louisoix i think? they decorate everything fitting to each other. even though its not finished, sone hoses are and it looks amazing.
while it seems unfair i rather see something like that than a bunch of empty houses which all look totally different and the owner is only there once a month to make sure he doesnt lose it
Let me just lay out some facts rq:
- Person in question in the first photo, at most (if they're efficient) has 6 or 7 individual accounts handling all of that unless they've roped a 2nd person into this (8 FCs per account, do the math on the 2nd photo).
- This is able to happen because of the inheritance system in place for FC houses so when an FC lead quits/leaves the game, the house can still be given off to another person (which allows people to bypass the requirement of only owning 1 FC house, it doesn't count inheritance as "owning" in the same way it does purchasing off placard).
- This is only happening due to the fact that people are literally not moving to Dynamis and each month the multi-owners are picking up houses that no one bid on during that time, since the FC creation process now takes 1 month to be able to bid (meanwhile you have people who want to just sit and bid against hundreds of other people for some reason and then whine they can't get a house).
- This is only going to happen again in the new Dynamis servers unless people go and pick up the houses.

It's 100% allowed. It's 100% wrong but Yoshi P doesn't care.
So why didn't anyone move to Dynamis, form an fc with friends and buy one of those plots before they were taken?

The really annoying thing is there are wards and wards of empty plots that are simply not put up for sale by SQEX so if you are a legit FC you cannot get a FC house as the few wards that are open for sale are absolutely full. leading to very low odds on an auction if a plot does open up.
The thing is, a single FC can't have more than one house. However, on a technical side of things this is not the same FC. FC tags are not unique, multiple FCs can have the same tag (e.g SHELL as seen here). So what you're seeing is multiple accounts having multiple FCs with the same tag. And because this is done with multiple service accounts, it is technically also not breaking the ToS. So they are following the law by letter but ofc not in spirit and this is the result.
Edit: Also, what LianaThorne says, although this is not a Dynamis issue at all. This crap happens in every Datacenter plenty of times. I suppose in Dynamis it's just easier to establish because there's less competition when a DC is new.
