Need some class stats advice please

I started playing paladin its been two weeks now , and i don't know if changing some best in slot stats will affect my tanking that much.

To be fair i played mmos with very little GCD and i found ff 14 GCD way too slow , i know the game is intended to be played like this , but i would like to change my GCD with skill speed , since its way more fun for me to lower it , so i decided to buy some item at level 60 with all skills speed and it was very noticable at my level , and i wonder if its a good idea to get skills speed if i reach max level and if its realy bad to keep focusing on it.

Most jobs have an ideal skill speed where their abilities actually line up nicely but none of that matters until endgame, just chase higher strength,

Monk is noticeable for their passively much faster GCD while jobs like Gunbreaker or Bard fill the slow GCD with abilities to weave and jobs like Ninja or Dark Knight frantically try to press every button to burst followed by slowly cycling 1-2-3.

skill speed wont ever make your GCD feel like wow on a pally, you are going to want to find a high APM(actions per minute) class.
DRK will be the highest amp Tank class currently and DRG i "believe" is your highest APM DPS , you have many buttons that dont function on the GCD and your rotation will consist of weaving the off globals in between your global presses.

Alright, so, if you mean sub-stats, these aren't that big of a deal overall. On most jobs, at least, but Paladin is an exception: Skill Speed + Tenacity is such a bad combination that it will make a much larger dent in your damage than on other jobs.

The reason is because half of Paladin's rotation benefits from Skill Speed, and the other half benefits from Spell Speed. Which means half the time, the Skill Speed is not affecting your speed nor damage at all. Additionally, Damage-over-Time effects were mostly removed from Paladin, making it even less useful.

Tenacity increases damage, but less than Determination does. So this combination of two junk stats can really hit Paladin in particular more than other jobs.

The idea is that you have time in between the GCD to make decisions and also to focus on mechanics. In higher difficulty fights later on, you actually come to appreciate the time you have to think.

But it is also true that some classes are faster than others. As far as tanks go:
    • Paladin and Warrior are the "slow" GCD tanks.
    • Dark Knight and Gunbreaker are the "fast" tanks that regularly weave in abilities between the GCD, making it feel like more button presses closer together.
i would like to change my GCD with skill speed , since its way more fun for me to lower it , so i decided to buy some item at level 60 with all skills speed and it was very noticable at my level , and i wonder if its a good idea to get skills speed if i reach max level and if its realy bad to keep focusing on it.
I did actually do this myself on Dark Knight. I was able to lower the GCD from 2.5 to around 2.1, which made it significantly faster, in addition to how it weaves in abilities a lot.

The difference on Dark Knight is all of its attacks benefit from Skill Speed except its AoE and its ranged attack. Fortunately, for optimization purposes we are normally only thinking about single target attacks and the ranged attack is rarely used except in dungeons or as the first attack.

In any case, I can confirm I was able to clear savage while stacking Skill Speed on Dark Knight. Most likely this would work on a Paladin as well especially if you're not trying to clear it in the first week or few of release. It's just more detrimental to Paladin because it has a mixture of spells and weaponskills in its core rotation.
