Good riddance. While I enjoyed the throwback to FFIV with Golbez and them, the EW story was pretty dang bland honestly. Nothing good or bad worth standing. I hope SE can build a better story now with Dawnwalker and start listening to their player base a little bit more in terms of gameplay, lore, and its ok to cut the leash with old npcs that been around 10 years we don't need them as central to the story going forward but I have my doubts. So here is hoping DT can hopefully turn stuff around.

There were ups and downs, but after two and a half years of arguing about it up and down these forums, I'm just looking forward to moving on.

i enjoyed it for what it was the ending of an era, i don't personally believe Dawntrail will be any different because its already been set in stone but here's to hoping they can bring new vision and new life into this game we all enjoy so much in 8.0 and onwards if not then, well guess i'll join the waiting room for Yoshida's idea of an mmo that he's been hinting at and see if that ends up becoming the next FFMMO or if its something entirely different.

Even though Shadowbringers is now my favorite, I really enjoyed Endwalker. To me, it kinda felt like Shadowbringers Part 2, and I loved the whole Ascian/Ancient storyline and the conclusion of Hydaelyn & Zodiark. The story as always was excellent, and so were the music and the zones…

I’m looking forward to seeing more of Eorzea in Dawntrail, but I’m hopeful that we’ll still get to see more areas, Meracydia (if I’m spelling that right) in particular, or other shards in future expansions. And I’m excited to see what Cosmic Exploration will be like!
