I noticed the other day that I had stacks of items in my retainer that should have been one stack (ie a stack of 12 feathers and another stack of 6 of the same feathers)

If you had multiple stacks in your retainer previous to 1.16 (when they raised the amount a stack holds for many items) they do not auto-stack.... thus taking up double the space on your already limited retainers :-)

.... Just thought I'd throw that out there so everyone can check.. The fix is to just take both stacks off your retainer and they will become one stack... then just readd them.. easy enough..

I actually used part of the 400 characters in the feedback after Player Poll #2 describing this issue.

*Stacks not combining automatically without shuffling back and forth with your retainer
*Incomplete stacks located below full ones.

When you start crafting the recipe system pulls from the full stack first- so now you have a stack of 98 and some leftovers, instead of using up the smaller stack first. Did no one notice this in beta?
