Wondering about game play, movement delays

I started this last night, and loaded my Gampad, got a computer that exceeds the video requirements... and everytime i want to move my char, camera, target, anything... it's like a 5-10 second delay.

I can't do anything because i end up running in circles.
please help.

i looked at the 'recommended' and it's telling me to switch out my processor from an AMD to an Intel.. and a slower one..
and to change my graphics from ATI to NVidia, and a lower quality one.
i don't understand.

I literally bought this computer ensuring it exceeded the min requirements.

It's your graphic card what is holding you back that's ATI Radeon HD 4200, which is bad, you need a better one and it's a laptop. You barely bought it? you should return it man and get one that meets those requirements. it passed the min requirements but that's barely, for this game you need a little better CPU and GPU "graphic card".

u sure, because just before jumping on the Server.. Koshua (with one chocobo) the movement runs great... then the server is like, S22 R53

How much did it cost you, you'll need like 600-800 for a decent laptop to run XIV fine. You should go to bestbuy and in there grab FFXIV game it has requirements and show them in geek squad you want a laptop that will run that game smooth.

Oh, then just upgrade graphic card then. Yes, i'm 100% positive it's your video card, that's low card. It has to be stock one. My old laptop has that model which is why i assume it's a laptop.
