    GNB's gap closer rollback

    The intention to reduce the burden of burst rotation that needs putting gap closers was good.
    But GNB's(also DRK) gap closer rework is not satisfying while PLD and WAR's older gap closers remain.
    Even the animation of new gap closer looks awkward.
    What about remaining the older gap closer with 2 charges, and adding the new gap closer with 1 charge to PLD, DRK and GNB as WAR has Onslaught with 3 charges?

    PLD and WARs gap closer remain mostly because neither have as many oGCDs in comparison to DRK and GNB, so to have sufficient amount of oGCDs to use per burst, they retain the damage aspect.

    The intention is to make the game as easy, unengaging and convinient as possible for people who ultimately won't even play the jobs.
    War and PLD will end up losing theirs too. They don't want to have high apm tanks anymore is all, so they're further dumbing down Drk and Gnb.
    They will remove the gapclosers from War and PLD too, eventually. But for now they ensure that all the tanks have a near identical apm going into Dawntrail. They're just placeholders. Every job must be the same.
    Nevermind that all the fights are full melee uptime and you won't even have a use for them. It's ''convenient'' to not have damage on your gapcloser for the people who don't play your job.

    I feel as if PLD could easily had their intervene damage changed into ogcd shield bash, but I guess we will not be using our shield much again, I'm not the biggest fan of gapcloser damage, but I do want higher apm then current PLD, I personally think the goal should be to make the GCD's more interesting rather then just giving jobs ogcd's but I doubt that will happen. I honestly feel as if the reason why DRK/GNB got no damaging gap closers was because people complained about high APM and not the actual fact that gap closers do damage, otherwise they would remove it from PLD/WAR my best guess is that people will start to complain about PLD/WAR having gap closer damage so we will see them removed, which will make them even more slower i guess.

    On the topic of melee uptime in the most recent live letter it did seem like they actually made the hit box a lot smaller then in recent fights so I can actually see the use of gap closers go up a little... depends they said they're focusing on fight design... then again who knows at this point, I'm willing to wait and see with fight design direction.

    I'd bet money on WAR and PLD's getting removed in 8.0, nothing says job identity like an entire role all having the same skill that behaves the exact same way.

    No, please remove it as decided on. weaving Rough Divide always made the animations of the rotation look disjointed and felt stilted. Gapclosers should be for their main purpose only, and not as random miniscule amounts of potency one has to spend during their already "defensive-weavespot-lacking" burst window.

    I wouldn't mind it if they gave us more ogcds or a actual engaging rotation, but I'm doubtful on that.

    Tanks are so bland that removing a ogcd gap closer is seen as ruining the job at this job lol.

    I'd rather they just removed the damage from WAR and PLD's gap closers also.

    Spamming utility skills for damage is terrible. They were smart enough to remove the damage from interrupts and stuns, do it for all gap closers.
