why is uldah so over used?

As title says, just why do they keep putting everything in uldah I mean really? Gold saucer- makes sense but still rdm-sam-reaper almost every event main town focus is in uldah, now the free fantasia and viper... really? really why do we keep over using uldah? When the tree hugger city is almost never used- no story in game on the elementals what so ever. I mean I love limsa best but atleast it has its large use.

Although we have three city-states, I get the impression that Ul'dah is essentially the unofficial capital of Eorzea, particularly when it comes to anything related to the Grand Alliance.

Ah yes let's just forget that DNC and SGE are in Limsa, Pictomancer and GNB are in Gridania. Or that Limsa hosts the Heavensturn and Summer events, or that Gridania hosts the Halloween, Christmas, and Easter events. Yes, Ul'dah does have a slightly higher than normal count of jobs starting there, but RDM and SAM made sense to be there. I can't speak to Viper for it's reasoning, but RPR only had another option for Limsa but Ul'dah made more sense because it's easier for Garleans to blend into the city over whelmingly over loaded with refugees.

So in reality, I don't really see that Ul'dah is being over used more than any other city. If anything it only has a slight margin of increased traffic for jobs nothing more.

If we're counting the gold saucer, the wolves den pvp hub is limsa. Even though the gladiator lote in uldah would have been a perfect pvp backdrop.

Because it's the center of the game.

Ideally they would remove all the job NPC quests that don't have a guild in Uldah and make specific "guild halls" somewhere else in the game. Though in the case of the reaper job, it probably should just have an actual "guild hall", likewise the rogue hall. Both of these basically are "man stands in front of the guild hall not-so-inconspicuously", and are thus not on the map. That also makes it hard to find.

Or if Yoshi-P wants to add new jobs to the game without making it absurdly silly, actually move the initial quests to a "job fair" space in the game so people don't have to figure out where they are.

Uldah is just way more balanced, its main area outside of the aetheryte is never packed full of people like limsa or gridania and it has a super simple layout and lots of space inside and right outside of its gates.

imo gridania is really used way more for events, most of them use its Amphitheatre anyway, especially holiday stuff.

and any job quest regardless of where it starts is gonna take you all around the map anyway, i dont really see anyplace being used more than any other.

you do realize i said limsa is used alot 2 right... but gridnia is almost hardly ever touched
