About a year ago my email address that is currently linked to my SE account was compromised and so I got a new email and changed the password on as well as added a few security locks to the old email, in order to clean it out...but I forgot which question I picked for my security question and it won't let me change the email my SE account is linked to until I do that :[

Is there any way around this? I tried to use customer service to contact SE about it and let them know directly...but I need my security password for that too! T-T

I wasn't too bothered by this at first as it wasn't too hard to deal with and I had seemed to clean out the email that my SE account was linked to and I just had to keep it around for SE

...but today I log on and I see I've gotten a notice that there is "suspicious activity" on my account I have to go on and reset my password and all...and I'm now thinking its more trouble then its worth

I've tried again and again to to remember which one I picked...I've answered all the different questions in all the different ways I could think of but I set this thing up years back and really didn't expect them to make you remember the question again as well as the answer

Does anyone have any advice/has this come up for anyone else? I've tried looking through the forums but I didn't spot anything...maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?
