    Why don't we just scale up old content to be relevant?

    I think this would be good idea to make old content relevant? Fights like second coil savage or old ultimates could be pretty cool to clear with current max level skill set.

    Nobody want to play level sync lvl 50 content once they miss half of their skills. Why cant we scale old bosses to lvl 100, so we can use full skill set we have?

    It's not just HP and damage that would have to scale. We have a lot more tools than we did at 50, so some mechanics would be trivialized without adjustments.



    I'm not against it, it would just take a lot of work

    I honestly feel like it's 50/50. Yes there's a bunch of content that would become more trivialized, but there's also a lot of content where I often think "If only I had this ability right now," where I don't think having the ability in question would ruin the fight.

    some of that old stuff is harder than modern stuff and that is honestly a huge proplem i mean go into Pharoh sirus synced or any arr dungeon i see people failing on tamtar hard first boss but same ppl clearing modern stuff.. Maybe they should go back to the old dungeon designs they use to have.


    Av and DD are great examples of this, sync these things are harder than a level 80 dungeon lol

    Some of the old stuff is harder precisely because we don't have our full kits. If you "scaled those up" to higher levels and gave us our full kits, they would become just as easy as the "modern stuff." The only "difficult" dungeon by actual design is AV, and that's only because the first room has a lot of pats that can overwhelm the typical "wall-to-wall" mentality.

    Something something too much work, something something not enough server space for 2 versions of every instance. We have such with faux hallow EXs but yeah rotated out (of which I recommend everyone should do even as a casual, theyre just too fun to pass up on.) Would be cool if they at least did something similar to dungeons, take a couple old dungeons and hike up the difficulty and lv cap, hell slap them into expert roulette so we arent as bored getting the same dungeon everytime.

    They explained why when creating Unreal, which are old, scaled up Extreme trials.

    They have to re-test everything and make sure it works at the higher levels. For example, Leviathan's mechanics just killed level 80 players when scaled up so they had to nerf them to make it feel the same.

    As our level has been constantly growing, it would be a constant process of keeping on top of the scaling for all the past content and they want to focus on making new content.

    Anyway, it isn't an issue of losing skills really in my opinion. It's just a lack of rewards for doing things minimum item level. If you got Faux Hollows for doing things MINE, more people would probably participate.

    They'll never make dungeons hard again lol, and the Burn was like a exception for awhile.

    People moan and complain when something gets too hard in normal content lmao.

    Many players like to feel like their characters have progressed in power.

    If it takes just as much effort to kill something at level 90 as it did at level 50, what was the point of leveling up? Just to get a couple of extra buttons to press that make you no more effective than you were 40 levels ago?

    Also as others have pointed out, scaling content just to level cap isn't straightforward and very time consuming when it comes to testing. Now imagine that everything had to be scaled to every level. You can't scale everything to level 100 because not every character has all their jobs to 100. In order for them to do the content, it would have to be scaled to all the intermediate levels as well.
